Hearts With River ("we," "us," "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Contact information: name, email address, phone number (if provided)
• Order information: shipping address, items purchased, order notes
• Payment information: payments are processed by third-party payment providers; we do not store full payment card numbers
• Site usage data: pages viewed, device/browser information, approximate location, and cookies/analytics data

• Process and fulfill orders and provide customer support
• Send order updates and respond to inquiries
• Improve our website, products, and customer experience
• Send marketing emails only if you opt in (you can unsubscribe anytime)
• Send you one reminder if you start a checkout and do not finish it, which does not require opting in. See Abandoned checkouts below

How we share information

We may share information with service providers only as needed to run our store, such as:

• Order fulfillment/printing and shipping partners (for example, Printful)
• Payment processors (to process transactions)
• Email providers, such as Brevo, which sends our newsletter, our order emails, and checkout reminders
• Analytics providers, if analytics are enabled
• Meta/Facebook/Instagram tools if you interact with our Shop or ads

We do not sell your personal information.

Your choices

• You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any email.
• You can request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us.

Abandoned checkouts

If you type your email address into our checkout and do not finish your order, we save that address along with what was in your cart, and we may send you one reminder with a link back to it. We do this because a lot of people mean to come back and simply forget.

• We save only your email address, your first name if you gave one, and the items in your cart. We do not save your postal address, your phone number, or anything to do with payment.
• The record deletes itself after 72 hours, and it is deleted straight away if you complete your order.
• You will get at most one reminder, and never more than one in any 30 day period.
• Every reminder has an unsubscribe link, and if you have already unsubscribed from us we will not send one.

How long we keep things

• Abandoned checkouts: 72 hours, then deleted automatically.
• Orders: kept for as long as we need them for accounting, tax, and customer support.
• Newsletter subscribers: until you unsubscribe.

Data security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Children's privacy

Our site is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
